BookWelcome to Brandy Bostons!  We have been raising and showing Boston Terriers for over 27 years.  Our dogs are not just pretty in the show ring, they share our lives — they work and play with us.  They actively compete in agility and flyball, and have excellent conformation, temperament and soundness.  Several of our dogs have been featured in the Official Book of the Boston Terrier by Muriel P. Lee.  Please take the time to explore our web pages and meet our dogs.

The Boston Terrier resulted from selective breeding of the Bulldog and the white English Terrier by a few men in Boston area during the 1870s.  Recognized by the AKC in 1891, the Boston Terrier is the first genuinely American breed.  Today's Boston carries a clean cut square head, graphic markings, dark soft eyes and moves with grace and power, and it excels in Agility and Obedience work and has few equals as a companion and house pet.  The Boston Terrier's personality has won this breed the nickname "the American Gentleman".

See Sandy Crook and her Boston Terriers featured in the Winter 2008-2009 and Spring 2009 issues of The Boston Quarterly along with supportive articles by vets and fellow competitors of this stoic breed.
